Thomas-Gifford.
Yesterday, at noot[noon], in the presence of only the relatives of the contracting parties, was performed the ceremony which united the lives and destinies of Ethel Thomas and Godfrey Gifford, both of whom live in the Lone Star neighborhood, southwest of Cimarron. Frank Thomas, brother of the bride, and Flossie Gifford, sister of the groom, attended the couple, and Mrs. Price played the wedding march. The ceremony took place at the residence of Rev. R. L. Price, who performed the ceremony.
The bride wore a shirt-waist costume of blue Panama and the groom was dressed in black. The happy couple will immediately begin housekeeping on the groom’s claim, in the Lone Star neighborhood.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. Thomas, of that neighborhood, and the groom has had bachelor quarters on his claim up to this time. His parents live near Eminence.
The JACKSONIAN joins their many friends in congratulations and best wishes.
