JOHN W. MOORE DIES EAST OF AUXVASSE

John W. Moore died of senility at the home of his son-in-law, James Moss, six miles east of Auxvasse, Tuesday night, July 16. He was buried Wednesday afternoon at Richland Baptist church, six miles northwest of Fulton.

Mr. Moore was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Banks Moore, pioneer settlers in Callaway, and was born and reared a few miles south of Boydsville. He was born in 1836 and at the time of his death was 76 years old. In 1855 he was married to Miss Margaret A. Davis and a number of years afterward resided near Fulton. For the past twenty-five years he has been a resident of north Callaway. He leaves seven grown children: William S. and True Moore, Hatton, Elmer Moore, south of Fulton, Mrs. James Moss, east of Auxvasse, Mrs. Howard Man, near Wellsville, Mrs. Etta Maddox, Mokane and Mrs. John Guy, Hatton.
