Lowell Walstrom

Funeral Services for Lowell Walstrom, 64, 1625 Hayes St., North Bend, will be held Wednesday at 3 p.m. in the Mills-Bryan Chapel in Coos Bay. the Rev. H. B. Schutte of Christ Lutheran Church, Coos Bay, will officiate. Committal will be in Sunset Memorial Park.

Mr. Walstrom died Monday in North Bend. He was born Aug. 5, 1905, in Coquille and lived his entire life in the Bay Area. He attended public schools at Bandon and Engineering College at Berkeley, Calif.

With his father, the late James E. Walstrom, Mr. Walstrom owned and operated the Central Transfer Co., with offices in Bandon and Coos Bay from 1925 to 1949. After that, until the present time, Mr. Walstrom was employed by Cape Arago Lumber Co.

Survivors include the widow, Audrey, and a daughter, Kay, both of North Bend; daughter, Mrs. Carol Vermeer, Tigard; sister, Margaret Norton, Bandon; and one grandson.
