What Can I Find Here?

My mother has researched family for decades, and I remember helping to go through microfilm and microfiche in darkened back rooms of libraries as a kid. I liked the dark rooms and the sounds of the machines, but it could be boring scrolling through hundreds of pages looking for names of people I didn’t know. Now much is available online, but nothing can replace actual connections and thorough research. I want to be able to see and understand the connections and better document the information, particularly in a highly visual (and hyperlinked) way.

Primary Interests

My primary interest is the Irish (paternal) side, but so much is still a mystery there. Primary Irish-side names: DAILEY, BURNS, DUNN(E), KIELY. As I improve my genealogical research skills I will work on that side, but in the meantime I have much I can document and record from my maternal side. So there is actually more information on these lines: GIFFORD, THOMAS, BIELENBERG, HERZBERG. There is also information about the MADDOX family of Callaway County, Missouri, as well as some people of note that I have volunteered to add source citations for on WikiTree.
